This was an unexpected result, because after winning at Cincinnati many thought that Murray will be at the top of his confidence and form. However, his lack of performance led him into the end of his individual category participation at Beijing.

With his victory at Sunday's race in Germany and his previous win in England, Hamilton is four points in the clear. His victory came with some daring passes after a near disaster early in the race.
