Julius Ward A Dream
An Inner-city kid by the name of Julius Ward longs for basketball success. In a world of basketball giants Ward stands at 5 foot 8. He is now a senior at life skills academy in detroit michigan, he transferred from laura f. osborn a year prior where he spent his 9th,10th,and 11th grade years. Ward was a kid who didn't have the opportunity to play an organized high school game because of his lack of focus and unwillingness to work hard. By the time his 10th grade year had came ward was finally eligable to tryout for the basketball team at the school, by then the team was full of seniors who had already went through the whole summer with the team and had earned themselves a guaranteed spot next season. Ward could not compile hmself in enough time to earn a spot. By the end of his 11th grade year ward left osborn to attend life skills academy to further his academic success and get into a good college. By not having a basketball team at the school ward then joined an AAU squad and a church league team to pass time. He than played well enough to earn a spot on the roster of the pontiac madness jr. games grey squad in 2005. he had a poor outings in the teams 4-game rally but exploded with a 41 point performance aganist the last place black team to earn 6th place honors in the tourney. Ward also averaged 21.6 PPG 6.3 RPG and 4.3 APG in his 25 game season with East Beth. ward is now preparing for JUCO and a possible run at MaComb community college next fall.
