Up to this point, we have talked about how some men add a little excitement to their lives with online dating. There are a number of different ways to tell if your potential online partner is married. He can come up with explanations for a few odd facts, but as time goes on, some things will seem to ring false. If he is reluctant to reveal his surname, where he lives, where he grew up, or information about his family, he may be married. Of course both parties will be careful in the early days of an online dating relationship, but after several months of dating, and even face-to-face meetings, you should have come to learn quite a bit more about him than in the first few weeks. If this has not happened, it is certainly a red flag that suggests he might be married or otherwise involved.

Whether or not you meet your man's family and friends is a good indicator if he is married or not. Many men don't take a girl home to meet their family unless it's a serious relationship. On the other hand, many men do enjoy when their girl meets their friends at parties or other gatherings. If at this time you have not met any of his friends or his coworkers, then you are probably dating a married man. There is a process for meeting the other people in a guy's life, but this process usually doesn't take longer then a few weeks after you have meet the guy at bars or other locations first.
