New online dictionary has been launched recently by Russian company for international market where the other respected companies successfully provide services of multi-language online translation.

English-Russian Online Dictionary is a multi-source dictionary search service owned by ABBYY,  world-known developer of linguistic and artificial intelligence, famous with it document conversion and data capture technologies and products – FineReader, Flexicapture, etc.

As ABBYY company is originally Russian, the quality of Russian dictionaries is esceptional: it is one of the fullest and most up-to date Russian online dictionaries in web.

To use the dictionary, simply type a word in the search box that appears at the top of every page, pick the required direction and then click the 'Translate' button. This will perform a search for the word in the several dictionaries hosted on the site.

If you don't know how to spell the word, use "Variants" button or "Search" button. You will get a list of suggestions. You also can set custom preferences for Search (for example, to look for definition only in medical dictionary) and use it to find examples of word usage, phrases etc.
