Satellite Radio Service is provided by two agencies namely Sirius and XM. Sirius was previously known as CD Radio, and has headquarters in New York City and offers its satellite radio services in Canada and Unites States of America. Sirius offers over 120 channels of programming, including 60 different music channels of rock, jazz, rap, county, classical, and Latin etc. World-class sports, news, and entertainment channels are around fifty in number. The satellite radio service is totally commercial free. Also the listener can enjoy live performances of their favorite artists. The antenna of the repeater can be placed up to seventy five feet from the repeater. Another benefit is that it does not require any power supply. All the antennas which are placed within its range are fed by the repeater. The repeater which is wireless operates in the frequency range of nine hundred mega hertz. The signal is received by the transmitter in one room and then transmitted to the antenna which is placed in another room which connects to satellite radio. Radio tuner is compatible with both the SIRIUS and XM satellite radios.
