Carbon nanotubes for nanotechnology - Posted by Zoltán Osváth.

Carbon nanotubes play important role in the developing field of nanotechnology. Their excellent electronic transport properties make them good candidates for building blocks in nanoelectronics. The high aspect ratio of carbon nanotubes is favorable in applications based on field emission, like flat panel displays and lamps. Furthermore, the strong mechanical properties and high thermal stability of carbon nanotubes improve the properties of matrix materials such as polymers or ceramics.

The Virtual Solarsystem - Posted by Kristian Nielsen.

The bestseller by Next Step Multimedia is now
updated with a new complete chapter about Dwarf
Planets, and is even available as a download
version.

What Dark Energy? - Posted by Karel Havel.

The article logically proves that Dark Energy
cannot exist in a Universe that had begun by a
Big Bang.

Cold fusion - The Salvage from the Energy Crisis? - Posted by Knut Holt.

The original reports of cold fusion in an electrolytic cell in 1989 were met with rejection and ridiculing by most mainstream scientists. Since that time cold fusion has been amply confirmed by replicated experiments, and the phenomenon is by now recognized as something real by steadily more scientists. However, in the popular daily media this scientific field seems to be treated as a taboo area to stay away from.
