Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda is by far the best place to visit in Uganda. It is situated at the extreme end of western Uganda bordering Congo. It is a neighbour to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga National Parks and to Rwenzori National Park which is famous for mountaineering in the whole of Africa.
This park is surrounded by small crater lakes which attract both native birds and migratory birds which come seasonally. It is also in this park that you can have a chance to see the Forest Elephant. These elephants are larger compared to the usual savanna elephants.
Ugandans are very proud people and when it comes to competition, they do it with vigor. Of recent, new hotel accommodations have sprung up in every place in Uganda and by now all major towns in Uganda have a cruise of five star hotels.
It has never been easy to find accommodation in and around Bwindi national park in south western Uganda as it is today. Many people have embarked on the construction on Camping sites, Executive Hotels and Safari Lodges near Bwindi national park more than ever before.
Mweya safari lodge is a must for every tourist Uganda.This lodge is found in the middle of Queen Elizabeth national Park. Let come what may, this lodge is above the ordinary standard of Ugandan Culture. Everything to it belongs to 5 star hotels though in the bush.
Nothing good has ever been said about Amin as the president of Uganda. And I don’t see the reason why I should not support it also. It is not my wanting to speak ill of this man but in real sense this man was a bloodthirsty animal called man.

Uganda has more 400 Gorillas that live in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in south west Uganda and about 460 inhabit the Virunga mountains of Rwanda and Congo (Zaire). It is believed that none of these giants are to be found in captivity.
