As Greece’s capital, Athens is very much in touch with many of the world’s major airports. The newest of these airports, the Eleftherios Venizelos airport, was completed in 2001 and consists of a total of 175 counters for checking in and 2 major runways.

This airport is truly a min-city that is enjoyed by those who travel to Athens. Many luxury hotels near the airport are finely built and can cater to any travelers needs.
