Italy is considered to be one of the most sought after holiday destinations for tourists from all over the world. With a wide range of world famous heritage sites and magnificent museums rich in art and sculpture, Italy holds some of the greatest attractions for the holidaying tourists. The fascinating painting and architecture from some of the greatest artists like Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci has made Italy a special place not only for the holiday makers but also for the millions of mesmerized students, artists, scientists and craftsmen.

Italy is one of the largest countries lying in the South of Europe. The southern part of Italy has long sandy and sunny beaches with mesmerizing landscape and breathtakingly beautiful villas scattered all around. In direct contrast to this the northern part of Italy is adorned with the majestic and beautiful Alps. Cities like Verona, Venice, Rome, Tuscany, Naples and Milan offer some of the notable historic sites in the world. Some of the distinguished art views are located in National Cinema Museum, Egyptian Museum, Uffizi Museum and the Roman Civilization Museum.

The best season for holidays in Italy starts mostly from April but tourists from all over the world flock into the southern cities all the year round. And especially places like Salerno, Palermo and Naples have holiday makers round the year. These places have beautiful sandy beaches and warm climate. The endless blue sea has never fallen short of attracting tourists to the magic and charm of Italy.

Holidays in Italy have different kinds of attractions for different people. Tourists who are looking for a warm bath under the sun can visit the lovely vineyards of Tuscany. They can enjoy the fantastic cuisine offered by the Tuscans as well as sip on the legendary wine. While visiting this part of the country it is an absolutely delightful experience to rent a gorgeous villa in Tuscany. Tuscan villas are famous the world over for their cozy and warm hospitality, their traditional Tuscan meals cooked with all the secret delicacies over a smoky wood fire which adds to the surreal atmosphere for the holiday makers. It is definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

The villas in Tuscany offer almost everything under one roof. These villas are located in the most beautiful locations. There are different types of villas available in Tuscany according to the tourists’ desire and budget. There are luxury villas, and villas with private pools, air conditioned villas, coastal villas and even private castles. These villas come with all the modern facilities. There are golf courses, tennis courts and swimming pools. The tourists can rent these villas for a few days or for an entire month.  Fabulous and breathtaking, Tuscany also offers some of the splendid artistic heritage sites which have their historical foundation in the Renaissance period.

Places like Venice, Milan and Florence have their own enthralling charm and aura. And while visiting Venice one must not forget to take the smooth and leisurely ride of the famous gondolas. The remarkable waterways make this ancient city worth repeated visits. And while in Rome one must take time out to see the Trevi fountain and drop that coin to return to Rome once again.
