Two USRobotics Phones Made For Skype

Do you love Skype?

If you do, then you are going to surely love this new set of phones from USRobotics. These new phones have been made to be compatible with Skype, the world’s most popular and most favorite Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service.

And what are they called?

The first one has been given the ID USR9602 while the other one is the USR9601A. But do not worry. As hard as it may be to remember the names of both these USRobotics Skype phones during your first encounter with them, your attention would surely be caught by its candy-like appearances.

What features do these phones offer?

Well, primarily, you can use these phones to use the various services that Skype offers. Not only can you use the phone to do SkypeOut calls, receive SkypeIn calls, as well as Skype to Skype calls, you also can be able to see who’s calling you.

What is the difference between the USR9602 and the USR9601A?

Well, the USR9602 has been dubbed by many as the USB Internet Mini Phone. This is because you can plug this phone to a USB port on your computer. You can use either a 1.1 or a 2.0 USB port. And then you just dial up some numbers and you are off to calling your friends and loved ones anywhere in the world.

On the other hand, the USR9601A is capable of doing what its brother can do. However, the difference is that it is not that small compared to the USR9602. And this one has been lovingly dubbed as the USB Internet Phone. If you will notice, there is no ‘mini’ there for it is not mini at all.

Are they already available?

Only the USR9601A is currently available. You can purhcase this for $49.99. As per the USR9602, the release has still yet to be announced.
