Nokia 6300 – Plain yet effective
The Nokia 6300 comes garbed in stainless steel casing, to pose as a robust mobile. Yet, it is light weight & slim with 12mm deep. The Nokia 6300's 320x240-pixel (QVGA) colour screen displays up to 16 million colours, and ensures that imaging experience is not diluted. While the well etched keypad makes the device user friendly, the four way navigation key makes operation easy. Further, the Nokia 6300 glows with a blue light on either side, when you have an unread text message. It is not a necessary part, but sure adds some good value to the handset.
The menu are displayed neatly on the screen, and they can be viewed as a grid of icons, as tabs or as list. And to provide more pleasure to the users, the Nokia 6300 allows the users to rearrange the icons in the desired order. One useful feature here is that, when some user hovers a bit too long over the menu, a pop – up window springs up, explaining what the menu is all about.
Nokia 8800 Series 40 user interface. It includes serious features like Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE connectivity and USB. Besides, for entertainment, the device is enabled with a camera, a music player, a video player, an FM radio and a voice recorder. It should be noted though that the camera has no auto-focus or flash. Nokia 6300 offers a talk time of 3.5 hours.
