Guarding the Car’s Interior from Rain and Snow

A comfortable ride is not limited to efficient suspension. The car seats and cabin condition also give a cozy ambience inside a car. The seats must be ergonomic and the air conditioning system needs to be efficient. Some motorists like the coolness the air condition can give, but some prefer the cool breeze from outside even when it is raining. That is why a number of vehicle owners install vent visors to their car windows.

The vent visor is a car accessory that has functional and aesthetic purposes. It is usually mounted along the top edge of the vehicle's side windows. The vent visor’s main function is to let fresh air inside the car’s cabin while blocking rain, snow, and strong wind. Also called the rain guard, this simple add-on prevents the windshield and windows from fogging.

Vent visors come in handy whether a vehicle is parked or in motion. While in motion, the vent visor lessens the amount of wind and noise entering the vehicle. It also prevents bugs from getting inside. Once the vehicle is parked, the vent visor allows motorists to leave a small opening, which cools the car’s interior. The vent visor is also ideal for passengers or drivers who smoke since it can provide proper ventilation and prevent suffocation.

The vent visor also enhances the exterior quality of the car. It sometimes becomes part of vehicle customization, since it can give a car a sportier look. A vent visor is made of durable materials such as tough acrylic. Any motorist can easily install the vent visor. Mechanical knowledge is not a requirement since it comes with a precision-machined, micro-thin mounting flange that can easily attach inside the vehicle's window channel. Maintenance of the vent visor is also very simple as it requires just a simple cleaning to keep its smoked appearance.
