Ford Motor Company is expanding its product lineup in Europe with the Ford Focus model that will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next year. For the 2008 model year, Ford gave the Focus a fresh appearance with its kinetic design exterior, refined interior components, and other range of new features inside and out.
The plug-in hybrid race is closely paced by General Motors and Toyota with the Chevrolet Volt and the Toyota Prius. With the plug-in Ford Escape hybrid, Ford Motors has joined the fuel efficient and reduced emission drive. The plug-in Escape hybrid is now ready to dominate the roads of California for testing.
The Canadian Auto Journalists have voted for the new 2008 Honda Accord sedan to be the “Best New Family Car” in the 26th annual AJAC Canadian Car of the Year competition. The model has been redesigned to provide better efficiency, enhanced safety, and greater power.
Last Monday automakers have reported their mixed US sales results for November. As expected there some new and more fuel-efficient models that performed quite well in Utah and in some parts of the US probably due to consumers’ concern over high gas prices and the weakening economy.
Yesterday, at a press conference of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) held at the Toronto Congress Center at the country’s capital, twelve vehicles from twelve “Car of the Year” categories were awarded as “Best New” for 2008.
