Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons of 2007

2007's Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons

CurlytoStraight.com announces the winners of the best 2007 hair straighteners.

The criteria used to decide on this "Best Of" list are; customer reviews, reliability, product features and customer support. The following review doesn't talk about each of the classes of flat irons or hair straighteners on the market. Only higher quality products were examined and cost was not considered.

The following reviews are based solely on consumer feed back, product quality and features. This doesn't take cost into consideration.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of hair straightener is simply the finest available on the market. The FHI Runway Series provides every innovative feature; adjustable heat, revolutionary heating plates, damp-or-dry styling, lightening fast heat time, 450F max temp and the most dependable plate heating of any product. Runway models also have the best user feed back of any the products reviewed. If you want the best hair straighteners available on the market this is definitely it, and they are experience. These straighteners sell for about $400.

Are the FHI Runway models worth the money? If you can afford it, absolutely.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As a pioneer in the progress of tourmaline integration and ceramic plating, The Platform series provides consumers with a premium straightener at a less expensive price. Available to buy in varied sizes, the Platform series provides PTFC ceramic heat plates, 450F max heat, ultra flash heat times and adjustable temperature. While this series is more affordable than the FHI Runway series, it's important to note that they're still on the pricey side at about $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The stylish pink straightener offers the finest performance and reliability of any flat iron in the Farouk CHI product line. Temperature control, ceramic plates, and flash heat times combined with an ergonomical and comfortable handle make the CHI ceramic flat iron an attractive option for anybody who wants the most from their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this straightener ranked above the CHI Pink series in product features, but it fell to the fourth space due to the fact that customers have had trouble with warranty returns. Other than that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry provides a solid ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The CHI Turbo series takes fifth place in our 2007 flat iron review. This flat iron line is used by more hair professionals than any other model. And though its flash heating and maximum temperature don't match the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is a wonderful option for anyone that wants outstanding dependability and performance.

Honorable Mention

Even though our hair straightener review lists the best of the best, there are many other professionally designed, first rate flat irons and straighteners available today. Here are a few:

GHD Hair Straighteners - An excellent device with a polished design incorporating an assortment of progressive features makes the GHD hair straightener an attractive option.

HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI has a couple of wonderful choices at affordable prices; the Convertible and the Nu Stik.FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series provides consumers with a Best in Class product for the traditional models. The FHI flat iron is an excellent product with many of the new millennium technologies.

*One of the better known models on the market today, the sedu ceramic hair straightener, wasn't reviewed because of what seems to be misleading sales practices and the exclusive, non-competitive internet distribution agreement.
