Types of Caribbean Cruises

When it comes to spending holidays, most people think of some place where they could find peace and spend all their time in the beauty of the nature which greenery all around them. Caribbean cruises are the best option for these people who want their fast lives to be put at rest for some time and relax in green surrounding all around them. The cruise ships mostly cruise through the islands in the Caribbean Sea which have one of the most beautiful collections of plants and trees and a wide variety of wildlife and birds which nobody would find in the whole world. The Caribbean cruises are of three types, namely, western Caribbean, eastern Caribbean and southern Caribbean. These three types of Caribbean cruises cover different types of landscapes and tourist points. They also cover different places with different climatic conditions and different kinds of people dwelling there.

Mostly people are not quite familiar with the routes of these different cruise routes. So this article explains all the routes of these different cruises. Starting with the western Caribbean cruise route, it commences from the Galveston; New Orleans; Miami or sometimes from Port Canaveral. All these places are present in the Florida state in the United States of America. These routes stop at various ports like Mexico, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Jamaican Islands. The western Caribbean cruise takes around four to seven days to complete one round of the cruise. The stoppage time at the islands or ports is less because the cruise has to be completed in a comparatively lesser time. But people come back being satisfied with the trip and they get to explore a lot of things like forests and wildlife in different islands of the western cruise route.

The eastern Caribbean cruise mostly gets departed from the Miami Port in Florida otherwise from Port Canaveral or sometimes even New York. The Eastern Caribbean cruise route mainly includes ports like San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Labadie. But the most beautiful Caribbean cruise which is most appreciated by the tourists is the southern route of the Caribbean cruise. It mainly departs from San Juan and lasts up to 8 days. The most beautiful sea spots and lands are covered in this route only. The main ports covered in this route are St. Thomas, St. Marteen, St, Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, and Aruba. But different people have different preferences while some want to go on eastern or western cruise the others appreciate the southern cruise.
