Dundee Airport Car Hire

This quaint seaside town is famous for its red sandstone cliffs, which house two spectacular caves: The Forbidden Cave and Dickmont’s Den. Just southeast of the shoreline, lays two tourist attractions: The Signal Tower and Bell Rock Lighthouse. In 1813, Robert Stevenson was the man behind the design of these works of art. Arbroath Abbey occupies the center of town. The ruins of this abbey play an important part in Arbroath’s history.

Arbroath, long a fishing town, is know for smoked whole haddock, known as Abroath Smokies, and kippers.

Monifieth is a very small town, with a history back to the 9th century. Now Monifeith is known for one of the best golf courses to qualify for the Open Championship. In its past, however, Monifieth was known for its sand dunes, no longer present after being worn away with erosion, This little village is a great place to stop and get a bite to eat on the way back to Dundee.
Thirty-seven miles or fifty-two kilometers to the southwest of Dundee lay Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Edinburgh has a wonderful zoo and botanical gardens that will truly be worth the visit. The zoo is the largest in Scotland. Edinburgh Castle is located in the centre of the city. It is the number one tourist attraction in Scotland. Britain’s Army still use the castle as its headquarters for three Scottish regiments.
