Nokia N73: digital imagery re invented

Success of a particular mobile phone line up is more dependent on its lower model rather than its top pf the line offering. The logic behind it is very simple. As we go up the price bracket, the number of target audience decreases considerably. Thus, success of a high end model may not lead to the overall improvement in a company's balance sheet.

However, low end models, by virtue of their sales volume can bring any line up to limelight. This stands true for all successful mobile phone family. Highly specialized mobile phone line ups like Nokia's N series or Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones owe their success largely to the popularity of their low end models among the masses.

Thus, speaking of Nokia N series in the same light, low end models like Nokia N70 and Nokia N73 are critical to the success of the line up that houses flagship models like the Nokia N93 and N95. Though the Nokia N73 can not exactly be termed as a mass solution, it is within a common man's budget. Therefore, its manufacturers had put in enough effort to ensure its popularity.

Among the major USP of the handset is its 3.2 megapixel camera. This high end integrated camera module puts the Nokia N73 in the elite league of camera mobile phone. Like its other high end counterpart, this camera phone boasts of lens crafted by world renowned Carl Zeiss optics. Presence of advanced imagery tools like auto focus, digital zoom, and integrated flash is but obvious for this member of N series.

Being a member of N series – a collection of multimedia mobile computers, the Nokia N73 is essentially a Symbian smartphone that is based on S60 platform. This 3G device is capable of taking part in video calls across UMTS networks. The handset supports all four GSM mobile networks across the world. No matter which corner of the globe you are, the Nokia N73 always have a way to connect you to the rest of the world.
