Victim of Circumstance

How many times in life have you allowed
circumstances around you effect you?
Are you stuck in a situation that you
hate such as a job?  What are the
resons for that?  Could it be that
you're "stuck there" by choice?  I
realize that this
sounds a little confusing but let's
think about this for a moment.
Making changes in life requires a
dedicated focus.  First you must
pinpoint what kind of change you want
to make.  In
our example we are talking about a job
change.  What ever change that you're
looking to make, write it down.  When
you put things in writing they become
much more concrete.  Now that you have
your list of what you want in a new
job,
let's look at the circumstances that
you believe are holding you back from
moving forward.
How many of those circumstances are
based on external factors that have
nothing to do with you or your talents?
How
many are based on your own lack of
belief in your self?  There is another
issue for a select few people out
there.  I expect that
you probably have encountered them at
one time or another in life.  These are
people who would rather be "stuck" than

do the work necessary to bring about
change.
Still, have you ever noticed that there
are some people who don't let anything
around them effect them.  That's
because
they know in their heart about personal
responsibility.  They have a strong
internal belief about themselves.  They
also
understand that change within
themselves must manifest itself on the
outside.  Remember, what you give off
about yourself
is what you attract.
What all of this comes down to is
knowing what you expect from yourself
then doing it.  If you expect to be
"stuck" then
guess what, you're stuck.  Learn to
expect more from yourself.  Put those
expectations into actions.  It's when
you take
actions that good things begin to
happpen.  After all, it's  a biblical
principle; Faith without works is dead.
