Meditation Articles
Many think of meditation as some guy sitting on a pillow, legs crossed, eyes closed, humming. However, meditation can be so much more meaningful, and it really does serve a purpose when done right.
The love you have for your self, your innate desire to be fulfilled, content and at home in the heart will eventually awaken you to what you are not - this activity of trying to be the notyou-ness that you keep on suffering on a momentary basis. Then perhaps you may begin to "see" just what it is that you already and truly are - the one that is looking through your very eyes right now; the seer; this "you" of you that is the very motion of seeing.
This learning to be the immensity of this "you" of you is not a method and nor is it a practice - it is the way of the infinity of the one that you truly are; it is completely and utterly natural. It has you free immediately - not in some distant future of a "now" that may arise somewhere on the horizon.
The only thing missing is your realization of just who you are. You have misidentified and mistaken who you are with who you think you are. You suffer that mistake big time.
Who you are is this "motion of aliveness" that is flowing through your eyes right now. Aligning your focus of attention to this very "seeing" and coming to rest as this very "aliveness" has you standing free of who you think you are.
You then have the opportunity to realize that this "youness" - who you are - is prior to the eyes themselves. It is "seen" before the eyes and also external to the eyes. In other words, the one that you are is everywhere. Everywhere.
If you are not being who you are then you are attempting to be something that was never true of you to begin with. This brings you misery, pain and suffering - with "spatterings" of pleasure.
You are not who you think you are and who you have been taught to be. Who you are is the very "aliveness" that you can never escape from because it is who you are - right now. It is flowing through your eyes right now.
Once you are here realizing who you are - right here, right now, seeing that this one that is looking through your very eyes is who you are - you are at home everywhere.
