Getting to the root of Hair Loss in Women

Hair is a treasured wealth and hair loss at any age is frustrating. While adding a decent look to our personalities, hair protects our scalp from external heat and thrust too. Hair loss is a common problem for men and women. Substantial hair loss not only changes your look but accelerates aging too.

Hair loss can be reverted unless it is genetic. Most woman hair loss cases are not genetic, though there are exceptions. To cure a hair loss problem we need to probe the reasons behind it. Once the source of the problem is identified, solution cannot be too far.

No hair remains for ever. Hair grows, stays and then falls out of the follicle. This cycle repeats again and again. Hair loss becomes prominent when the growth rate slows down than the rate of regular hair fall. Let’s go through the common causes of female hair loss here.

Common causes of woman hair loss:

There are a lot of reasons that may trigger hair loss by interrupting the hair growth. Mental and physical stress often results in hair loss. Woman hair loss may also occur after serious ailments and surgeries.

Hormonal imbalance is another reason of female hair loss and hair thinning. Malfunctioning of thyroid gland sometimes prevents natural growth of hair. Women may also suffer considerable hair fall in post-pregnancy phases due to unstable hormone levels. Excessive hair loss during or after menopause also has its root deep in hormonal imbalance. Women undergoing medication sometimes suffer from hair loss too.

Apart from these, fungal infection on scalp, excessive intake of vitamin A, anemia, protein deficiency etc. may also start hair loss in women. Even, pursuing a typical hair style for long that damage the follicles may be the reason of female hair loss! Applying certain dyes and chemicals to perm hair has been reported to cause hair loss too.

Though most of these causes are temporary and can be cured if proper steps are taken, it’s important to diagnose the reason behind woman hair loss. Also, the Hair Loss Treatment that works for an individual may not work for others if the cause of hair loss is different.

Hair Loss Treatment

Nature has gifted us everything what we need; then why don’t we find the solution in nature? To sustain the natural growth of hair, herbal products work best. Herbs found in the hilly areas of Himalayan region often used for medication and unlike synthetic products, they do not have any adverse affects.

However, you may also consult a physician to know the exact reason of hair loss. If you are losing hair because of mental stress, you should find some way to reduce it. Similarly, if your medication is the problem, your doctor is the best person to suggest you an alternative.
