Energy Medicine - How The Treatment is Performed
Hazards
No adverse effects arising from energy medicine have been identified. Some clients may express discomfort with the intensified energy; at that point the therapist may move to another location or end the treatment.
The use of vibrational toxins may impede the success of energy therapy. Such toxins include alcohol (loosens and misaligns the subtle anatomy), cigarette smoke (clouds and weakens the subtle anatomy), and caffeine (disturbs the flow of energy). These affect the acupuncture meridian system that affects the etheric body, which in turn causes energy leaks in the emotional and mental bodies.
Clinical considerations
The client should be consulted about cultural items or rituals that are important to him, and these should be incorporated into the healing session in the manner agreed upon.
Research summary
Numerous studies support the efficacy of vibrational or energy medicine. However, further study regarding its efficacy is necessary.
