Ratchet and Clank Future PlayStation3 Help

Nearing the 5th anniversary of the pioneer game on the PS2, Ratchet & Clank has had a pretty good lifespan on Playstation consoles and has become quite popular among gaming fans. Dismissing only the 4th installment of the series back in 2005 when the fans felt that the developers focused on the game's winning formula to an excessive degree, overall the team-up of Ratchet & Clank has earned great success on every platform it has landed on. With a more diverse gameplay, it's not surprising that fans' expectations for its introduction on the PS3 has been building up.

Once again returning to the approach used in former versions of the game, Ratchet & Clank is out to conquer the PS3 with a bang, beyond anything fans of the series has seen before. Therefore, gamers are sure to expect the same old fun they had with past Ratchet & Clank adventures. His robot accomplice, Clank, will be there to help him accomplish his mission of finding this out. His reliable robot companion, Clank, will be there to assist him until he attain his objectives and until he finds the answer for his quest. You can expect to be treated to some crazy antics of these two as they've always been known for in the past.

In creating this new Ratchet & Clank adventure, one of the first steps that Insomniac Games have taken is to completely overhaul the game engine. The changes made are very notable with its use of the new Sixaxis controller. Not wanting to settle only for the touch-sensitive feature of the controller, Insomniac went beyond extremes in making use of every angle as much as they can. More than just the standard use of analogues and button combinations, you can also twist and flip the controller to direct you. It's a minor transformation, but you'd be surprised at what it can do for the game.

For this new game, you can also gain access to a wide array of weapons to aid Ratchet in getting his mission done. Being one of the most prominent features of the game, the guns have been improved to perfection. Not only do you have bountiful choices for weapon to use but they are equipped with some new techniques to be more efficient. And finally, you can now put together various weapons and make a bigger, super-weapon, and you'd also be able to upgrade with bonuses.

As the PS3 version of the new Ratchet & Clank is hinted to be more of an updated version of the PS2 game, instead of being a brand new game altogether, many expect the graphical quality of this game to be much improved as well. And with that, the expectations for the game in terms of graphical quality is tremendously high. The graphics and animation are so fluid and precise. Well, it looks like the developers have really invested on the graphics of this game, considering that they have doubled the amount of animation used for this one as compared to the previous game Insomniac has released for the PS3, Resistance: Fall of Man. Many of those who has had a preview of the game has implied that this is the closest any game has ever gotten to looking like a Pixar film. Pretty promising, huh?

By taking the formula that fans loved most about the original game and incorporating them into the new Ratchet & Clank Future. It's hard to think fans won't be enjoying this game as they did the previous versions.
