First commonality between the two love birds is that they are both from the south. Brad Womack pretty much has the good qualities of Southern man, and he indeed has a connection with the Southern Girl DeAnna, who emulates her appealing femininity with a twinge of being reserved. Brad had once cited his mother as a strong woman, almost hinting that he likes independent women who can stand on their own. DeAnna seems to fit that description, and at times, can turn off her toughness in times of need. As for DeAnna's family life, she has proven that she values them a lot, and loves to spend time with the people she loves. She also proved to be extroverted and assertive, a real independent chick who knows her worth. Moreover, if a guy likes a girl like her, they know that they'll have to work their way through it. She isn't the type who plays hard to get, but we all know that men like a little challenge, which would prove how worthy they are of her.
