Omaha high low vs Texas Holdem

Some of the major Omaha vs Texas holdem differences can be outlined as follows:-
• In Omaha high/low games you need to use 2 from hand and 3 from community cards whereas in Texas holdem only the five cards count like in Omaha, but you need not necessarily cope with the 2 from board and 3 from board rule. This is one major complicating difference in Omaha vs Texas holdem games.
• When you consider the combination of cards in Omaha vs Texas holdem; in Omaha where you have 4 pocket cards C1, C2, C3, C4 you can expect C1-C2, C2-C3, C3-C4, C1-C4, C2-C3, C2-C4, which becomes a total of 6 different combinations. Whereas in Omaha there is only 2 pocket cards and there is only one combination of card that would be C1-C2 for a C1,C2 card.
• In Omaha vs Texas holdem you can see that you need to work multifold strategies than you would require in Texas holdem and that could be a whole lot of matrices in Omaha. In Texas holdem you can play a single combination, but in Omaha you have to decide to play one from 6 combinations on which you will continue to play!
• The degree of confusions in Omaha vs Texas holdem can be very complicating in as your graduate from flop to turn where your confusions can double when the turn or flop cards come and you oscillate between which pair to use to develop any further, but there is also an advantage that your extra 2 cards in Omaha can serve to replace to form a better hand too! However the 2 from board and 3 from community is indispensable.
• A major mistake in the approaches of Omaha vs Texas holdem would be to raise your big pairs unnecessarily, especially in a multi-player Omaha table. In Omaha high/low of many players those players other than you who have an Ace and a low card will continue to play, and this can drastically reduce your winning chances.
• Another misconception of Omaha vs Texas holdem is related to positional raises in the pre-flop. Unlike in Texas in Omaha high/low games with each player having 4 cards many are likely to wait to see a flop unless their cards are really not performing. Even the nonperforming hands try to see some rare positives in the flop.
• In Omaha vs Texas holdem nuts play a major difference, where in Omaha you can be sure to loose without nuts in most cases, unless in a very short-handed game.
• There are more bad beats in Omaha high/low when comparing Omaha vs Texas Holdem games.
