Jamie Lynn Spears Won't Screw Up Like Britney

In a time of rampant celebrity gossip where the net worth surrounding news and images of and about Britney Spears tops 100 million dollars, people are beginning perceive one and all troubled celebrities as being the same, however that notion is unquestionably unfair in the case of Britney�s younger sister Jamie Lynn. Ever since the news broke a month ago that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant everyone has been comparing her to her shipwreck of a sister Britney however maybe its time that we all take a step back and remember that we are dealing with a kid here. If Britney was going to have an outburst she should have done it around 10 years ago and not now (which is another reason we believe she�s legally Insane but we won�t get off topic with more Britney madness as this article is about Jamie). Jamie is still only 16 and while many find it easy to pass judgement we all must remember that she chose to go public with her pregnancy and while many will say it was her mother Lynn�s doing we have to remember it was Jamie who still went through with it.

Jamie could have easily ran off across the border and solved her problems in some Mexican Back Alley while doing a shot of tequila(sorry I couldn�t help myself) however she chose to stand strong and take responsibility for her actions. Despite who�s the father Jamie knows she will be a mother and she has made peace with it. Teen pregnancy is nothing new either, Teens get pregnant everyday for whatever reason just like people in their 20�s, 30�s and occasionally 40�s(yuck). We need to stop focusing on the fact that Britney Spears is her sister and focus more on the fact that Jamie is a bright young lady with a good head on her shoulder. She is still working hard to finish High School and is dedicating time to continuing her acting career all while dealing with the social issues surrounding someone her age. If Jamie Lynn happens to go crazy one day, I think everyone will damn well know it was the fault of the media and photographers that refuse to give this kid some space. Everyone needs to stop treating her like Britney because she isn�t Britney.

Lynn Spears has received a lot of criticism for selling the rights to publish pictures of Jamie Lynn�s future child to a magazine publication however think about the situation from a logical standpoint. Photographers will be lining up left and right to get snaps of Jamie�s baby, so why shouldn�t she profit from the situation. She is the one that will have to take care of the baby once its born (yes we know her mother plans to help raise it) and lets not forget she�s no where near as wealthy as her older sister Brit Brit(I�ve been wanting to use that word combination for ages). Lynn Spears undoubtedly made the right decision. While many mothers would try to be more protective Lynn realizes that these is a dog eat dog world where everyone is out to profit off celebrities so she�s taking caring of her daughter the best way she knows how. I won�t comment on Lynn�s parenting skills when it comes to Britney but I certainly won�t blame her for Jamie especially since Jamie should not be blamed for anything. She is a a stellar young lady with a great head on her shoulders and we believe she has a very bright future. I bet everyone was totally expecting an article bashing Jamie but we thought it was time that someone looked at the positives.
