Can you reach Diamond Distributor?

So you've just taken the leap and became a team member for Amway, or you're thinking about it. You could also already be a part of the team and you haven't reached all your goals within the company yet.

My goal is to do a review of Amway and the opportunity they offer. The good the bad and the ugly if there is an ugly. My background is sales and I have a lot of direct experience in the sales field and network marketing.

Amway Overview
Amway is a network marketing company with a specialization primarily in the health, beauty and home care markets. Part of their product/services offered are unmatched in MLM distribution due to sheer numbers involved and the stability of the company. AM has had success for over 40 years and they've been around since the late 50s, I'm in no way affiliated with this business. Their main target market is middle class middle income clientele.

Beauty products are the primary products sold through Amway because of the real and the constant use of these products.This is probably the best kind of residual income generator for your money's worth. Amway has a great reputation for selling high quality product. Organizational help is something that's more recently been added to their company as the economy has pretty much demanded it.


The Business
The business opportunity that representatives enrol into is always going to be criticized because it's a multi level marketing company, which is impossible to get past. The company itself is completely legal and legitimate.

You need to get customers and build a team. The reps you can't recruit are usually the people you try to turn into your clients, through electronics, home products or anything that they may be able to use. Silver level is a good promotion to aim for. Diamond distributor is a difficult position to obtain in the company. At the Diamond level you're making six figures and you pretty much do Amway full-time.

Silver distributors can be extremely hard to produce on a consistent basis, a lot of that having to do with the mlm industry and the service field itself. One of the biggest problems reps have coming into this industry is having the trust of their clients or potential clients because you're dealing with the most important thing in people's lives, their finances.

A rep with no MLM background or connections can have a hard time building contacts and clients without prior experience. Learning about the company while building a solid list of prospects outside of friends and family can be a daunting task. Generating leads is probably the most important thing you can do to build you business but it's always neglected. When you're not making money in the beginning and you have to do all the training plus build your business at the same time, it can be quite stressful.
