AllAdvantage - Agloco
As you may already know from my previous posts or from other online resources Agloco was created by the same people who created AllAdvantage but recently I've been reading a lot of articles on the internet saying that Agloco is a pyramid scheme and so was AllAdvantage and that no one can ever make any money from signing up. I decided to test the knowledge behind these individuals and I've also challenged some websites which already have a solid user base which make claims that AllAdvantage and Agloco is just another online scam and the number one thing that each of them kept telling me was that it was a scam, I asked why and they just simply said it was a pyramid scheme, when I asked them to explain none of them did, they did not give me one single fact behind their claims so I've decided to create this post so that everyone can see the truth behind both companies and then I'll let you decide if its a scam. To top all of this off I asked a few of them to define to me what a pyramid scheme was and to explain to me if it was illegal or not. Again no replies from these individuals and websites, I of course already knew the answer and if you do some very basic research you'll find out that pyramid schemes are illegal in the USA and you cannot register a company that participates in one and yet
AllAdvantage had a legitimate US business licence. I'm going to be using strict fact about both Agloco And AllAdvantage, no hype and no false claims and at the end I'll even give you the websites where I've gotten the information from but I can already guarantee you that these resources are some of the most trusted and respected around the internet.
The History Of AllAdvantage AllAdvantage officially launched on march 1st 1999 and some of the founding members were Jim Jorgensen, Johannes Pohle, Carl Anderson, and Oliver Brock. AllAdvantage was an online advertising company that paid its members a portion of their advertising revenue and their main slogan was "Get Paid To Surf The Web". During its nearly 2 years of operation, it grew to more then 10 million members and made nearly $200 million in its first 18 months of operation. AllAdvantage paid there existing members more for referring new members and by doing so it became one of the most heavily promoted websites of its time. AllAdvantage was responsible for creating the world's first corporate Chief Privacy Officer, this officer was responsible for protecting the privacy and security of its members. At the time Ray Everett-Church was the main person responsible for this role and was in charge in 1999. This type of corporate privacy started a trend that quickly spread among major corporations, both offline and online. Around 2001, the Privacy of American Business reported that a significant number of Fortune 500 firms had also appointed senior executives with the role of Chief Privacy Officer. AllAdvantage was also a company which was very respected in the early concept of viral marketing and in may of 2000 an article from Red Herring magazine, said AllAdvantage was a prime example of viral marketing success. If your new to viral marketing it basically acts like a virus spreading across the body, on the internet it has the same type of effect, if you were to create an article and submit it to a directory and someone uses that article on their website and someone then takes it from that website and uses it somewhere else and so on until it spreads around the internet like a wildfire, this is what viral marketing is. In mid-2000
AllAdvantage fell victim to the sharp decline in advertising spending as the U.S. economy entered a recessionary period and because of this AllAdvantage was forced to seek other sources of income and expanded to include sweepstakes but the company finally stopped operations in February of 2001 and in their short life span AllAdvantage paid out over $120 million to its members. Well there is a bit of the history behind AllAdvantage, all true with zero hype and here is where I got these facts from
Wiki - AllAdvantage yup thats right wikipedia the internet's largest and most trusted resource for quality information but here are a couple other resources which relates to this article and should be read.
Business Week CNET News You can also view the original AllAdvantage video which was used to recruit their members this can be found at
http://www.veoh.com/videos/e94804yCA8ZTKk Oh but I'm not finished with the resources yet here is also an old document all about AllAdvantage
http://www.everett.org/b20-aadv.pdf Agloco The New Improved AllAdvantage So in the above topic I've covered some trusted resources and facts that relate to AllAdvantage and their history, many people have said where did AllAdvantage go and why did they leave, now you know, they fell victim to the world market like so many other companies have in the past. So what makes Agloco so different, how can we trust this company like so many did with AllAdvantage and how do we know that they will not shut down. The simple answer to all of this is you don't know, no one knows how long this company will be around and no one knows if our stock markets will suddenly take a dive but when things like this happen it does not only effect Agloco it effects every single company in that industry and weeds out the weaker business plans. The one thing we can all look forward to though is that because AllAdvantage did create such an amazing effort in their short time and did have a solid business plan at that time we know that the same founders have learned from any previous mistakes made and since the internet is much more stable now then it was back then Agloco founders can create a much more sound company for us all. I'm not going to go into the 8 week history of Agloco because I've already done so in my previous posts just read my introduction to Agloco or any other resource on this blog and you'll know all about this company. But before I end the post I'll leave you with these few words in which I've found where Bill Gates himself has said about the company and other online advertising companies. Bill said that search engines like Google Inc. get their revenues from advertising because people use these search engines. "Google’s business model is not based on free software, their business model is based on advertisements from which they make a lot of money. But they don’t share these advertising revenues with the end users who help them get the revenue". He went onto say “Google keeps all of the money for itself and a company like Agloco could very well revolutionize the way advertising is handled over the internet". Since I do not know where the resource for this Bill Gates statements came from (I forgot the address) I'll let you decide if I'm being genuine and your more then welcome to disclaim the above bill gates statements because I have not supplied the reference to it.
Conclusion So I now ask everyone to make their own assumptions because you know more now then you did before, the one thing I cannot stand is when someone tells me that something is a scam when they provide absolutely zero proof as to why it is a scam. I am a person trying to make some money online like everyone else and if I think something is a scam then yes I'm not going to use it and I'm not going to promote it but I always do my research and make sure they have a solid history and in my research I've found Agloco to have the most potential and the most positive effort towards making money on the internet. I personally give them my thumbs up and I'll continue to work for them until they as a company prove me otherwise. I only ask that you keep informed and base your assumptions from the facts and not from statements that do not support any quality resources. I hope you enjoyed this little article and I cant wait to hear your feedback on it. Article By
